1. Is This A Genuine Ad? Is The Owner Reliable?

www.ThailandRealEstate.info has over 2000 properties advertised and has been running for five years. We are still to have the first serious complaint about deposits, payments, false advertising etc. If such a problem ever occurs, the property will be deleted immediately!
The owners are required to comply with strict regulations that they must accept before they are allowed to add a property to the website. So they are all aware that www.ThailandRealEstate.info does not accept complaints of this kind.
The owners must pay www.ThailandRealEstate.info one year in advance to advertise their properties, so a person intending to defraud, must first pay us – and this of course, is very unlikely to happen.

If you are still uncertain about buying property from a private owner, you may also contact the owner by telephone to make sure you feel comfortable with the person.
No matter how many assurances and guarantees we give you, there is always a chance that something can go wrong; however www.ThailandRealEstate.info has made every effort to employ all possible means to prevent clients being left with a serious problem.
But again, we have not had any serious complaints in five years and we do not expect any in the future.

2. What Is The Usual Procedure Of Payment?

There is not a fixed standard of how payment is arranged with the owner; however many use the following method:
On making a reservation, 20-50% percent of the total amount is paid. About a month before arrival the balance is paid. You may also be asked to pay a refundable deposit upon arrival, in case of damage to contents of the property. Most owners will ask you to make a bank transfer. Some will accept cheques while more and more have set up their own paypal account in order for the clients to pay by credit card.

3. I Sent An Enquiry, What Next?

If you liked a property and sent an enquiry to the owner via the ad directly, you will receive a follow-up email within 2 days, with a direct link to the ad you enquired about, so you can have another look at it. If by then you haven’t received a reply from the owner, we will help you with contacting the owner. Please be sure to provide your correct email address and your phone number with country code so that the owner can make contact with you.

4. How To Book A Holiday Car

If you have rented a holiday home, you might also need a rental car to move around in Thailand. We offer rental cars at low cost in more than 80 destinations throughout Thailand.

5. Shortlist

If you use www.ThailandRealEstate.info there will probably be several properties you like. We have created a method to place all your preferred propreties in a shortlist, so that you don’t have to search repeatedly every time you use www.ThailandRealEstate.info.
You can do this by clicking on “add to shortlist” in the ad itself, so that every time you visit www.ThailandRealEstate.info, you are able to open your shortlist, adapt it by adding or removing other holiday homes and even send it to friends or family.

6. What is last minute

If a property owner would like to sell their property quickly, within the next 30 days he/she is able to set up a last minute ad, so you may book it. They are also able to write some additional information such as, last minute offer etc..
The owner is not obliged to give a better price in this section; however some do.
